I havent updated in so long. My home ISP seems to be blocking my site for reasons I dont know. I have yet to complain so I’m here at Gabby’s Bistro to update this blog. So what have I been up to? Hmmm, let’s see:

Well, I’ve finally gotten my eyes checked and settled on some brown contacts. Which makes me look weird, almost kind. HAHA.

But I have no choice, eyesight is deteriorating. Gotta cope with the times. One thing I noticed though, once you get them on for the first time, it seems like before that moment, you were a blind man stumbling along in the dark. With my contacts and glasses before, that first foray outside is like a revelation, everything seems bright and colors seem crisper.

Hmmm, what else.

I’m flying to Manila on October 1 for WordCamp 2010. Bought plane tickets and registered for the event. Can you believe roundtrip tickets to Manila cost me less than a bucket of beer? A measly 153 PHP. I KNOW! Amazing. And early registration for WordCamp is 500 PHP. Ed, the responsible adult with savings, graciously loaned me monies for the tickets and registration. Yes, because its a known fact that after payday, my bank account is emptier than a beer keg the morning after a frat party. LOLS

Also, I got my new Payoneer card from oDesk. Honestly, the old one looks so much better. I dunno why they try to fix something that isn’t broken.

The one on the left is the old ReviewMe card, still from Payoneer. I dont have the original cool black one from oDesk. But I like that Media Whiz thingie on the old one.

Ok, since all my favorite shows are on season hiatus since, what, May(?), so I’ve been catching up on the series that I wouldn’t be able to follow during the fall season. So far I’ve seen The Tudors 1-3 (which is a good show by the way, too bad it ended), Skins 1-3, Chuck 1 and 2, Dexter 1-4, Dirty Sexy Money 1 and 2 and Vampire Diaries. Cougar Town was meh.
